In this 2020 circus show at Jacksons Lane, various groups of children and young adults set out to truly represent their local area of Haringey with their circus-art performance. Some groups chose to represent a swimming pool, some the fruit and veg market… and some roadmen and pigeons!
With a heavy focus on wealth and class disparities within this Borough, the show reflects the challenges and the joy of growing up in such a miscellaneous area, and the costumes too display a funky blend of grimy-and-playful aesthetics which is so unique to London.
